DRAWING TOUR host artist Rita Lazauskas is a finalist in the prestigious 2012 Dobell Drawing Prize on show at the Art Gallery of NSW until 10 February 2013.

Her work titled ‘View from the Ramparts #5’ is inspired by her travels with Morocco tours. The panoramic concertina format of the 3D drawing makes reference to the traditional architecture of Morocco, where the terraces and fortifications provide views onto complex scenes of life below.
